MINIMUM NETWORK REQUIREMENTS

The following is the default on most networks:

  • Minimum bandwidth of 300kbps upload
  • Non-firewalled and port-mapped TCP ports 6000-6001
  • Non-firewalled TCP ports 80 and 5222
  • BANDWIDTH TESTS:

Test your Internet connection speed at Speedtest.net Test your bandwidth at Speedtest.net
Speakeasy Speed Test Test your bandwidth at Speakeasy.net/speedtest

Corporate networks: If you are on a corporate network or behind multiple routers/firewalls it is possible that you will not be able to establish an initial connection with Source-Live. Please review the Network Guide.

Wireless networks: Wireless networks are not as reliable as fixed connections via ethernet. We do not officially support Wireless networks, please bear this in mind if you have support issues. Review the Network Guide for assistance.

    RECOMMENDED NETWORK REQUIREMENTS

The better your upload and download speed, the better quality you will get with Source-Connect. If you are able to upgrade your bandwidth to the recommended requirements this can dramatically improve the quality you can send.

  • Bandwidth of at least 512kbps upload
  • Ethernet connection to your router/modem
  • Internal Static IP (e.g 192.168.1.50)
  • Port mapped TCP ports 6000-6001
